Teton Pass is seasonally off-limits to semi-trucks from November 15 to April 1. But many truckers are apparently disregarding this limitation, due to the miles using the Pass cuts off from their daily route.
The Wyoming Department of Transportation will also be installing a mobile variable message board with the closure messaging for added awareness.
Any trucks illegally using the Pass will be subject to fines and Wyoming Highway Patrol has increased patrols, especially near Jackson on WYO 22.
