Semi crashes through Subway at Travel Mart in Wisconsin

There’s still no word on what exactly caused a Roadrunner semi-truck to crash through the Subway of the New Lisbon Travel Mart in Juneau County, Wisconsin on Thursday morning.


“A Juneau County travel mart has tens of thousands in damage after a big-rig slammed into and through the building. It happened just off the Interstate 94/90, on Bridge Street in New Lisbon.”

WSAW reports that repairs are expected to take weeks and the Travel Center will be “closed indefinitely”.

“Oh my God, there’s a semi half way in this building!”

“If the guy had driven to the other side, he would have hit the diesel pumps and who knows what would have happened then,” Subway worker Ryan Fauska said.

According to the report the driver of the truck was “45 year old Scott Walter from Monroe WI.” and states that he was transported to the hospital for medical evaluation.
