Load of pipes crash through semi cab in foggy Edmonton

It was a great day to be alive for a truck driver after an incident early Wednesday morning near Edmonton in Alberta, Canada.

He was hauling a flatbed load of pipes in heavy fog on Hwy 19. For some reason, he had to slam on the brakes, which caused several of the pipes to crash through his sleeper and through the windshield.

The driver pulled over onto the median, and for a short while was stuck in his truck. But by the time help arrived, he managed to get out of the truck and was walking around.

The best news? He managed to escape injury.

“It was good to know that he was out walking around and that he wasn’t injured by this, because otherwise this could’ve been a completely different incident,” David Brooks, Deputy Fire Chief with Leduc Fire Services said.

Can you say headache rack?
